In the highlight of this weekend’s sporting events, Wales host Ireland in a rugby match not to be missed. Ireland are playing for the Grand Slam but, if Wales can get a 13 points win they will spoil the Irish party and be crowned 2009 RBS Six Nations Champions.

Today, Italy host France in the first of today’s three RBS six nations games. Neither side has anything left to play for, but it would be nice to see Italy get a win on the board. France have the opportunity to finish in 3rd but they would also be relying on another result.

After a long two week break the 2009 RBS 6 Nations is back!
Yesterday, the two leading teams came out victorious. Well Wales did anyway, at time of posting Ireland are 7 points in front of the Scots. Today’s fixture, England Vs France, seems like a battle for 3rd place. Although France do have a chance of winning the tournament if they beat England and Italy and Wales beat Ireland. If that is the case then it will go down to points difference. England have already lost twice in their first 3 games and will be hoping to overcome France and save some pride.

If Wales can win against Italy this afternoon, which they should, then the next fixture could be one of the best finales ever in the RBS 6 nations when they face tournament favourites Ireland. Italy are the weakest of the 6 nations but with the home advantage they have a slight chance of spoiling the party for Wales.
